SALES REPRESENTATIVE

JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting and selling the company's software and services to a target clientele.
 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

1. Sales

 

  • Conducts software and product demonstrations.

  • Prospects new clients, builds and qualifies client lists, follows up via visits, calls, emails, or any other means to promote the company's software and products.

  • Develops client lists.

  • Coordinates preliminary analysis and quotation, and sends it to the client.

  • Follows up on the quotation and inquires about the client’s decision.

  • Finalizes agreements with clients.
     

2. Marketing

  • Prepares, with the help of their immediate supervisor, marketing campaigns (internal tools, target client profiles, mailings, phone campaigns, etc.) aimed at both existing and new clients.

  • Prepares, develops, and improves all marketing materials necessary for presentations, quotations, and sales (Word texts, PowerPoint documents, printed materials, etc.).

  • Coordinates the sending of informational emails to existing clients regarding updates, price changes, etc.

3. Administration

  • Compiles sales statistics (accepted/rejected quotations, quotation amounts, industry sector, revenue, number of employees).

  • Establishes sales objectives in collaboration with their supervisor and monitors progress.

4. Other Responsibilities

  • Keeps knowledge up to date in the manufacturing and IT fields. Uses leading market software and specialized in-house systems to perform tasks in a computer-based workstation.

  • Performs any other related tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor as part of the job.
     


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing.

Technical knowledge: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows. Knowledge of the manufacturing sector and ERP software. Familiarity with accounting.

Languages (spoken and written): French and English.

Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in software sales and/or real estate sales.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Technical: Sales techniques.

Intellectual: Strong ability to plan and organize time effectively.

Interpersonal/Communication: Good negotiator, strong communicator, persuasive, team player.

Attitudes/Behaviors: Sense of responsibility, respect, and customer focus.

Job type: Part-time

Salary: $60,000 to $75,000 per year
